I am a Death Doula, a non-medical Caregiver, a Unitarian Universalist lay chaplain, a Notary Public, a furbaby mom, a good friend, a kind heart, a compassionate soul.
I have a deep fondness for chickens so I don’t eat them. The picture above was me trying to capture some chickens that got dumped in a busy neighborhood. I was unsuccessful, but the effort was made. I was able to feed them cracked corn though, which made the rooster crow with joy.
I’m a creative spirit that delights in Dad jokes, fart humor, and lo-fi beats. I promote and live love as loudly as possible. It’s essential for our survival.

I like your description especially ‘our elders should be given the respect they’ve earned’. In many countries generations live under the same roof. In the USA, assisted living and nursing homes are the norm. ‘while the generations below should be actively looking towards the future’ AND watching over those who gave them life.
Mare, my friend, I really like your website here. It’s a delight.
