Blessed be the soldiers whose names you may not know.For the sacrifices away from loved ones, families and home.
Blessed be their courage they dip into every day.
For the strength that they have to keep the American way.
Blessed be the soldiers that fall in foreign lands.
For the our land that they died for, defending freedom’s stand.
Blessed be the survivors, family, kin, and kind.
Whose loved one is no longer here, but never leaves their mind.
Blessed be the veterans who return to homeland soil
For everything they gave, their hardships, and their toils.
Blessed be the soldiers whose names you may not know.
O’er the ramparts they watched, the dawn’s early glow.
